Marcelo has been coming to Total Therapy since 2008, and it has been a blessing. He receives both Speech and Occupational Therapy, and every week we see how much he is improving.

My daughter started traditional Speech Therapy around the time she turned 3. She worked hard and we contiued the therapies at home and it helped some, but she had more issues that would completely derail her efforts. She couldn't tolerate activities that most kids find enjoyable and are integal to learning. When she became "overloaded" she would shut down and not participate or throw tantrums. I came across the Kids In Balance website and enrolled her in a social skills class. The therapist identified sensory processing issues in addition to the communication delays. We began getting speech and OT through Total Therapy to work on those issues. They worked through her behaviors and found new ways to help her learn. They have really opened up my daughter's world. We are truly amazed at her progress.
When my son started showing some oral motor problems I knew I wouldn't have to search for the right place to take him. We are so thankful to have such a wonderful resource right here in Riverview.
